Full House Renovation – Complete Modern Transformation.
Full refurbishment and extension of a 1920s suburban house by a construction company, transforming it into a modern family home.
The project included side, rear, and roof extensions, nearly doubling the property size. The original structure was partially retained, including the staircase and primary façades, while the building was upgraded with external insulation and a new clay tiled roof.
A large rear open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area was constructed with a broken-plan layout and bespoke joinery. New ground floor spaces include a gym, utility, boot room, cloakroom, and WC off a retained entrance hall. The first floor was reconfigured to form a principal bedroom suite with en-suite and dressing room, alongside additional extended bedrooms, including a vaulted rear room with mezzanine level and integrated joinery.
One of key parts of this renovation was transforming the former small, dark kitchen into a bright, sociable space with a new L-shaped layout and a chic stone island. Careful planning, precise structural preparation, and quality workmanship ensured a durable and high-end finish. Gentle, neutral tones were used throughout the home to create a cohesive, modern look while keeping the space warm and inviting.
In addition to the kitchen, we renovated all living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms, including plastering, flooring, joinery, tiling, decorating, and final finishes. Every detail was completed to a high standard, ensuring the house is not only visually modern but also structurally sound, energy-efficient, and ready for many years of use.
